Out Our Back Door

This is Arches National Park, just out our back door. We are posting these pictures to give our friends in France (and our friends in the U.S.A. who have never been to Moab) a little clue about what we have around us here in Moab. I think that there could be no more of a contrast with the landscapes of Europe and France than what we have here in Southeastern Utah. So enjoy the pictures, but realize there is no way to give you any idea of the scale of this landscape and no way to make you understand the amount of open space we enjoy.
I encourage you to click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Wow! This is a bit different from England. I would guess that we have a little more rain over here!

Keep posting!

How's the French language going?

We're back to Leran in 3 weeks (and counting!)

Luke hasn't been to the Moab area for a very long time...but once seen...it is impossible to forget! You have a truly beautiful back yard. When I was in London in '77 one of our English tour guides asked me what things she should make sure she saw when she visited America...and I told her to go to the west and see the Rockies..there is nothing else like it in the world...the red rocks of Colorado and Utah and the gorgeous mountains of Wyoming, Montana, etc. You live in a most special place!
