"America...This is your victory!"

"It's been a long, long time coming,
But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will"

Oh, yes it can...oh, yes we can...oh, yes we did.

We've put so much hope into this "regime change"...I can only pray that President Obama and all those Democrats in the Congress will live up to our expectations!
I think we're off to a good start! Good riddance to "W"! I can't wait until he is gone!
As Bob Dylan said (long ago!)..."the times they are a' changing"...
Enjoy! Luke
No one could live up to all the expectations we have for Obama. But if he doesn't disappoint us any more than most politicians, and if he inspires the country to believe in itself and to hold its head up in the world again, then it won't matter. Once he is President we can quibble with him. For now, not just good riddance to W, but hello to a new day when the president of this country didn't get his whole campaign as a gift from major corporations. And hello to a day when Americans got beyond our history of bigotry and limited expectations enough to elect a thoughtful, intelligent, well-educated leader who happens not to be a WASP. It is so good to be proud to be an American again.
YA-HOOOO!!!!
I heard Madeleine Albright say a while ago that one of the best qualities a President could have is the ability to learn. I think Obama has demonstrated that he is capable of learning more quickly than most.
God speed Obama, you will need it.
